In this sketch, Jim Carey plays the part of “Mister Rogers” as he visits a video rental store. “Mister Rogers” is approached by several store employees and patrons — all eager to talk with the man they grew up watching on television. Much to their surprise, “Mister Rogers” responds in a manner that certainly does not reflect the true values of the Neighborhood.
The end of the sketch reveals that the character played by Jim Carey was only a person pretending to be Mister Rogers in order to gain the attention and good favor of others.

In Living Color is an American sketch comedy television series that originally ran on Fox from April 15, 1990, to May 19, 1994. Brothers Keenen and Damon Wayans created, wrote and starred in the program. The show was produced by Ivory Way Productions in association with 20th Century Fox Television.
